Wisdom Tooth Removal

Wisdom teeth are the last to erupt into the mouth, usually beginning around 18 years of age. Often there is not enough room in the jaw for wisdom teeth. The teeth are positioned so far back in the jaw they are difficult to clean, which leads to gum infection and cavities. The majority of people opt to remove them as a solution or to prevent these complications. This treatment is generally done with sedation and local anaesthetic to keep the patient comfortable during the procedure.

A.It varies depending on your insurance plan, but most plans should cover your routine checkups, cleanings, and X-rays. Cosmetic treatments like whitening or veneers are usually not covered by insurance.
