Veneers

A veneer is a permanent restorative treatment used to enhance the size, shape, colour, and spacing of teeth. It is an extremely thin porcelain tooth casing which only covers the front of a tooth, creating a natural look while maintaining the tooth’s strength and durability. A temporary “mock-up” can be made using tooth-coloured material (composite resin) on your own teeth to preview what the final result will look like. The next step is the preparation of the teeth, which involves trimming 0.5 – 1 millimetres of enamel from the front and sides of the teeth. Temporary veneers are made and placed on the teeth. In one to two weeks, the porcelain veneers are ready to be permanently cemented after you and the dentist approve the fit and appearance.

You will walk out of the office with added confidence and want to smile all day long!

Q: What does dental insurance cover?

A.It varies depending on your insurance plan, but most plans should cover your routine checkups, cleanings, and X-rays. Cosmetic treatments like whitening or veneers are usually not covered by insurance.
