Patrizia was unhappy with her smile. Her upper front teeth were uneven and her two upper lateral incisors were too small compared to her other teeth.
Dr. Paul Sclodnick restored Patrizia’s smile with minor orthodontic tooth alignment and two porcelain veneers on the small lateral incisors. The treatment was completed in just a few months and created a much fuller, more even smile.
Aaron
Aaron was plagued all his life by dental decay. He only had to look at candy to get cavities. After over a hundred fillings and replacement fillings, Aaron slowly began to lose teeth – one by one. He had trouble eating and stopped smiling.
Dr. Sclodnick replaced all of Aaron’s remaining teeth with 24 dental implants. Aaron will never have another cavity. He looks better, feels better, and can eat anything.
Dental implants are the closest thing to having your own teeth.
Maggie
Maggie did not like her smile. Her front teeth were crowded and overlapped, she had discoloured fillings and her teeth were worn from grinding.
Dr. Paul Sclodnick used porcelain crowns to improve the colour, shape and alignment of her front teeth and also strengthen the ones with large fillings. Maggie’s front teeth were restored with six porcelain crown, giving her a fuller, brighter, more beautiful smile.
Mirjam
Mirjam was missing a front tooth for many years, and had a bridge that made her feel unattractive. With an uneven gum line and dark spaces showing, she felt self-conscious about the way her teeth looked. She wasn’t even able to floss properly.
Dr. Sclodnick replaced the missing tooth with a dental implant, and the gum line was leveled. Porcelain crowns were placed on all her front teeth; now they are all separate and individual, and she can floss again! Her gum line will never look dark, as there is no metal in the crowns. She says they look and feel great!
Donna
Donna had an older crown on her front tooth with that “black line” appearance at the gum line. Also, the shape and colour did not match the other front teeth. Conventional crowns have a metal substructure that can leave a dark shadow at the gum line.
Dr. Paul Sclodnick restored Donna’s two front teeth with porcelain crowns that are metal-free and will never appear dark at the gum line.
Christian
Christian felt that his two front teeth were too large and prominent but actually that was only because the other teeth were crowded behind.
By adding porcelain veneers to the teeth on either side, Dr. Sclodnick created harmony and balance and a more attactive smile.
Thach
Thach did not like the appearance of her smile. She felt that her teeth were short, too much gum tissue showed and that the white fillings on her front teeth were discoloured.
Dr. Sclodnick suggested that cosmetic recontouring or sculpting of the gum tissue would improve the proportions of her front teeth and that porcelain crowns would be stronger and more esthetic than her old fillings. After her treatment was complete, Thach wished she had not waited so long to begin!
Priscilla
Priscilla had two congenitally missing front teeth, which caused her other teeth to drift and result in large spaces. Previous treatment to correct the spaces left her with crowns that were too wide, and large dark triangles at the gum line.
Dr. Sclodnick’s treatment consisted of a full upper restoration with porcelain crowns, bridges and implants to improve the size, shape and function of her teeth. Priscilla’s front teeth are more proportionate and the dark spaces are gone. The crowns and bridges have no metal in them and will not turn dark at the gum line.
Priscilla looks and feels better and because of her improved bite can eat more comfortably.
Vanessa
Vanessa was unhappy with her smile. Her lateral incisors were very small, and her right eye tooth was much longer than her left.
To level her uneven gum line, Dr. Paul Sclodnick removed tissue from her laterals to make them appear longer and added to her right eye tooth to make it shorter. Two porcelain veneers were bonded to the lateral incisors to improve the size and shape.
Now, her teeth and gum line are even and proportionate.
Ashley
After years of having braces on her teeth, Ashley wanted a fresh new look.
Dr. Sclodnick used a professional whitening treatment to improve the colour of Ashly’s teeth. “It’s the easiest, most cost effective way to brighten your smile.”
Christine
Christine was unhappy because she felt that her smile was uneven.
Dr. Paul Sclodnick suggested that the size and shape of her front teeth could be improved with porcelain veneers.
Treatment consisted of four porcelain veneers creating a fuller, more even smile. Treatment was completed in two short appointments. Now Christine can’t stop smiling!
Sue
Sue wanted to know what could be done to improve her smile. She had old crowns on her front teeth that were too short and too wide.
Dr. Paul Sclodnick explained that new porcelain crowns could be made that would be more proportionate and aesthetic, but that Sue’s gums were in the way and would need to be altered first.
Treatment consisted of a crown lengthening procedure to sculpt and reshape the gum line, followed by porcelain crowns to give Sue a full, beautiful smile. Because her new porcelain crowns don’t contain any metal, they will never look dark at the gum line.
