YOUR FIRST VISIT
Our office is always accepting new patients. A patient's first visit will generally last
about 60 minutes at which time a comprehensive examination will be completed.
This exam includes:
-
Review of your medical and
dental history - Head and neck exam
- Oral cancer screening
- Any necessary dental x-rays
- Teeth and gum charting
- Dental photographs
- Molds of teeth (when indicated)
After this examination, we will arrange
to discuss our findings and diagnosis
and establish a treatment plan designed to meet your individual needs and concerns.
Appropriate appointments will then be scheduled for you based on the final treatment plan.
CANCELLATIONS
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with a minimum of 2 business days notice. This courtesy on your part will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient who needs to see the dentist or hygienist.
DENTAL INSURANCE AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
Our office does not accept direct reimbursement from any dental insurance companies. We do this because we have found that the continuous changes in the insurance industry and variety of insurance plans severely compromise our ability to provide the finest quality dentistry that our patients deserve. Payment is due at the time services are rendered regardless of insurance expectations. As a courtesy, our office staff will promptly submit your claim to your insurance company for direct reimbursement to you. If your Insurance Company allows it, we are able to submit your claim electronically to assist in expediting your claim adjudication and reimbursement.
Payment of fees for your dental services can be made with either VISA, MasterCard, Interac, personal cheque or cash. Individual payment arrangements can be discussed prior to commencing treatment.
